Hello, Gary...
I am sure you are the same Gary Diedrichs I knew from CCM when I was at BFGoodrich in Akron. In April, my wife and I were in the Depot Bookstore in MV and I saw your Earthquake Shack book. I am reading it now and enjoying it. It was interesting early on to learn the origin of Richardson Bay. I have overlooked it many times staying at the Howard Johnson / Holiday Inn / Larkspur Inn on Shorline at 101 over the years since 1987. I have also frequented -- shall I say "occasioned" the No Name on a few visits. For years I had a cousin in Walnut Creek and now have a daughter and her family in Sacramento, which resulted in my visits to Marin. I sneak over to MV and environs every chance I get. I expect to be back in early August and would welcome the chance to buy you a beverage of your choice at the No Name and have you autograph the Earthquake Shack for me. Let me know if that works for you and I will try to finalize my itinerary. I can then add your book to my other two autographed California books -- both recipe books signed by Annie Somerville at Greens in SF.

Best regards,
Don Husat
